Summary: The book Two of Everything, by Lily Toy Hong, tells the story of a magical pot that doubles whatever is put into it. The story is a wonderful story to read to students learning about patterns, doubling and multiplication.

Classroom Ideas: After reading the book the teacher can create a T chart creating different rules. The T- chart can represent what goes in and comes out of the pot. Students can describe the patterns using words and equations.  Students can also create their own rules for their friends to figure out
